Visit by Tsinghua University Party Committee

Professor Qiu Yong, Secretary of the Tsinghua University Party Committee and his delegation visited NExT Research Center on 25 January 2024 to learn about the two universities' promotion of talent cultivation, high-level scientific research output, transformation and application through joint innovative research.

The center is an international joint research center established by NUS, Tsinghua University and Southampton University. It is committed to the basic theory and practical application research of artificial intelligence.

Since established in 2010, NExT has aimed at the forefront of the subject, strengthened international academic exchanges and cooperation, and produced a number of influential papers.

The lab have jointly trained more than 70 top-tier doctorate and master's students , which has positively impacted the two universities' efforts to develop their respective disciplines and nurture their talent.
